Dear Prospect:
The Fields of Manassas is required to provide a notice to all existing tenants that the income and rent affordability requirements, tenant protections limiting rent increases, and eviction for other than good cause expire on December 31, 2027.
The Fields of Manassas received
an allocation of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits from Virginia Housing with an
Extended Use Agreement requiring the property to comply with the affordable income
and rent requirements, tenant protections for rent increases above the annual maximum
program limits, and from eviction for other than good cause for 30+ years.
Effective January 1, 2028, the rent
may increase beyond the affordable program income and rent limits.

Tenant Rights and Fair Housing
Tenants are required to annually
review and sign the Virginia Statement of Tenant Rights and Responsibilities,
and the property must meet Federal and Virginia Fair Housing laws. Helpful
